Gretsch New Classic Series Drumkits

At a time when Retro is as hip as ever, Gretsch embellishes the retro vibe by offering a true new professional drum set in the New Classic series. Featuring proportionate Gretsch-formula maple shells, this drum-set produces a vintage Gretsch tonality while giving these drums their own distinctive sound. Proportionate shells increase in thickness as shell diameters increase to give a full, balanced tonality across the entire drum set. Classy appointments include vintage styled tube lugs, the very low mass “ITS” integrated tom suspension system and 9025 hinged tom and floor tom leg brackets. Retro looks combined wtih

Gretsch New Classic Bubinga Stripe Drumkits

Made specifically for the Gretsch 2009 Reserve program, this unique New Classic drum set features two 1cm wide pieces of Bubinga that are inlayed into each shell. The inlayed pieces produce a striking wood pattern that adds another “new and classic” dimension to this popular series. Shells are consistent with the standard New Classic proportions to project a full, balanced tone across the entire drum set.

Features: New Classic Maple-formula shells with proportionate thickness,Inlayed Bubinga strips, 30-degree bearing edges,Silver Sealer shell interiors, Die-cast hoops,Non-drilled bass drum (tom arms and clamps are included),Chambered rubber FT feet, Evans G1 coated batter heads and G1 clear resonant heads.

Gretsch New Classic Ocean Sparkle Burst

Gretsch's New Classic series now features a new shimmering colour, Ocean Sparkle Burst. This hand applied lacquer finish uses Gretsch's exclusive Mixed Sparkle Technology. Ocean Sparkle Burst incorporates three different sparkle sizes - small, medium, large. Small sparkle flakes are used at the shell edges then blend with medium flakes near the middle of the drum. At the drum center, large sparkle flakes decorate the shell. The blue color burst pattern features gradual shade transitions that accompany the sparkle flake transitions. Shell color goes from deep blue at the top and bottom to a turquoise shade in the middle of the shell. The overall finish effect is rich, radiant and glittering.

Gretsch New Classic Bebop Drumkits

Gretsch proudly introduces this classic configuration in the New Classic line. The NC-S483 shell pack includes a 18”x14 bass drum, 12 ”x 8” tom and 14”x14” floor tom. This set will be available in – Ivory Marine Pearl. Featuring proportionate Gretsch-formula maple shells, this drum-set offers a classic Gretsch tonality while giving these drums a uniquely distinctive voice. The 12” tom is 6 plies, 5.7mm thick; the 14” floor tom is 6 plies, 6.6mm thick and the 18” bass drum is 6 plies, 7.5mm thick.
